The Rip Report · November 2026
Every rip is a bet on one card: the autograph. Before you buy, know what a box actually guarantees. "One hit" can mean a jersey swatch. These are the boxes that promise ink, from the most signatures per box down.
Three autographs a box: 2026 Topps Midnight Football
One pack of seven cards, three Chrome autographs, at $539.99 a hobby box. It releases Nov. 13. Rookie chases include Fernando Mendoza, Jeremiyah Love and Carnell Tate, with veterans Cam Ward, Drake Maye and Caleb Williams. It's the richest autograph-per-dollar format in football this fall, and the most expensive door in.
Two per box: 2026 Bowman Football
Twenty packs of eight cards and two autographs per hobby box. It's the first Bowman to put college prospects and NFL players in one product. Topps' own hobby boxes are sold out, so expect to pay above list on the secondary market.

Walter Payton's signature: 2026 Topps Heritage Football
Heritage is back for the first time since 2015, on the 1976 design that carried Walter Payton's rookie card. It includes a Walter Payton cut-signature card, a real autograph cut from a signed document. A hobby box ($139.99 on release) promises one autograph or relic.
New season, new rookies: 2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball
Topps' first Flagship Basketball of the new license era arrives Nov. 5, led by rookies AJ Dybantsa, Darryn Peterson and Cameron Boozer. Hobby boxes promise one autograph or relic card. The jumbo box is the format that guarantees an autograph: one autograph and one relic per box.
2026-27 Topps Flagship Basketball
The baseball closer: 2026 Topps Update Series
It's the last Flagship of the 75th-anniversary year. A hobby box promises one autograph or relic, and the jumbo promises one of each. Rookie chases include Konnor Griffin, Kevin McGonigle and JJ Wetherholt. Steel City Collectibles in Pittsburgh has hobby boxes at $179.95.

Read the box before you rip
- "Autograph or relic" means you may get a swatch, not a signature. Only "autograph per box" guarantees ink.
- Pack-pulled autographs are certified by the manufacturer. That's the opposite of a loose signed ball, as our Babe Ruth story explains.
- Ripping is a gamble on the hit. Most boxes are worth less than you paid. Rip for fun, with money you won't miss.
